International and multicultural work

Welcome to Kirkkonummi Evangelical Lutheran Church. At Kirkkonummi there are two Evangelical Lutheran Parishes: the Finnish-language parish Kirkkonummen suomalainen seurakunta and the Swedish-language parish Kyrkslätts svenska församling. Most of services and activities are in Finnish or Swedish, but we also have English speaking staff, volunteers and activities.

Worship and Ceremonies

The Sunday Holy Mass is usually:

St Michael’s Church Kirkkonummi at 10 am (Finnish) and 12 noon (Swedish)

Veikkola Parish Home/Haapajärvi Church at 12 noon (Finnish)

Masala Church (approx. twice a month) at 5 pm (Finnish)

Church Ceremonies:

Do you wish to have yourself or your child baptised? Do you want to join a confirmation class? Are you planning a wedding? Have you lost a loved one and need to arrange funeral service? Do you wish your new home to be blessed?

Do you need help?

Whatever problems you may experience, church is there to support you. All consultations with a pastor or diaconal worker are strictly confidential and free of charge.

Priest On Call: Monday-Friday at 9–19, Saturday-Sunday at 10-17. Telephone number 050 475 1309. If the pastor cannot answer right away, please leave a message with your contact details, so that the pastor can call you back.

Alfa-kurssi / Alpha Course

Alfa-kurssilla sinulla on mahdollisuus tutustua kristinuskoon rennossa ja turvallisessa ilmapiirissä. Voit pohtia ja ihmetellä - kysymyksesi ovat tärkeitä!

Alfa-kurssi muodostuu 11 tapaamiskerrasta ja vuorokauden mittaisesta viikonloppuleiristä. Tapaamisillat alkavat yhteisellä aterialla. Aterian jälkeen katsotaan kaksikielinen video (suomi-englanti) ja sen jälkeen keskustelu jatkuu joko suomenkielisessä tai englanninkielisessä ryhmässä. Tapaamisillan kesto on noin 2h.

Alfa-kurssi alkaa keskiviikkona 2.9.2026 klo 18 seurakunnan tilassa Hörnanilla  (Pitäjäntuvanpolku 3).

Lisää tietoa kurssista heinäkuun aikana! Alfa-kurssilla tarvitaan myös vapaaehtoisia: keskusteluvetäjiä, keittiötiimiin ja esirukoilijoita!

Alpha Course is an open possibility for you to know the basics of the Christian faith. Whether you are new to Christianity or you just want to deepen your knowledge, you are warmly welcome!

Alpha Course contains of 11 weekly sessions and one weekend gathering. Weekly sessions starts with a light meal. After that we watch a video (Finnish and English) and the we discuss in an open and safe environment in two groups (Finnish-speaking and English-speaking). 

Alpha Course begins in September 2nd, 2026 at 6 pm, Hörnan (Pitäjäntuvanpolku).
